After their Party in Amsterdam they were back in The Hague again this weekend.... It was a good party, unfortunately someone got hurt and had to go to Hospital. Shit happens, but this time it was worse than it previously was..... The Deaf stopped playing and De Kraaien decided not to perform partly because the injured man was a good friend of theirs! DJ's did get behind their Wheels of Steel and finished the night how it was supposed to end, Good & Fun! All in All I had a good time again!!! |

Just came back from the photolab wich developed my B&W film. We finished our 5 week tour of Magic with Illusionist Hans Klok in London last week. In the theater in London I shot a couple of portraits of some of my coleagues. Above are some of the results from this film. |

Today Kim from Papanatos Tattoo's opened his expo in the lunchroom 'Mien, Koffie en Brood' in the centre of The Hague. Just before we were kicked out at the end of the evening, I decided to snap some photo's of the art, Kim (Papanatos Tattoo's), Joost ('Mien, Koffie en brood') and those who were still there. Friday was the first time Ongetemd did their Infamous party in Amsterdam. Personally I liked it, it was something different than the safe game in hometown The Hague. Although I'm looking forward to next week when the Party is back in our familiar 'Paard' and it probobly will be packed again!!! Come early and party longer!! |

Being on Tour, away from home and living in hotels or nightliner is quite an experience, I think! Being on tour with the theatre shows from Illusionist Hans Klok is an Experience for sure!! The hard work is most of the times well worth it and the good and fun but sometimes Crazy collegues make the work a lot easier and is pretty much a good excuse for making photos. |

Protest Rock a Rail fuelled by Monster October 2011. This insane rail contest in The Hague was located in the middle of the city centre. On a square with bars all around the contest set-up, what location is better for a good night with the best Rail set-up and rider from all over Europe!! I was asked to take photo's for the contest and clearly I was not the only one. Snowboarers shreddin' photographers and filmers putting themselfs in ridiculous places to get the best angle. Snowboards got trashed, Riders slammed and Flashes and lightstands got ruined....... After the contest all this went on in the bar! It was chaos, but all in all a good day! |

The weather this summer was not the best ever, not at all!! But i've been hanging around a really cool surfcamp for kids in bloemendaal (holland) every now and then. The girls who run this surfcamp are so stoked and enthousiastic that the waves and the weather were not important for making the kids have a great time. They go surf, lunch on the beach and play games all day. These kids i've seen are all so stoked about going into the water, have fun with their boards and each other. Rain or sunshine, waves or no waves, these girls go out to the beach with the kiddo's to have a great time, and it was actually really awesome to see it all happening. The whole SUPRA footwear team came to Amsterdam. This team got it all, the young ones and the legends!! They were on a european tour and visited Amsterdam for a Signing in Toms Skateshop on monday. The Next day a demo was skated in the Skatepark of Amsterdam. Unfortunatly I could not be there to see these guys skate. I heard it was really good though... Surf in Holland can be good, just like the weather... But it wasn't so fortunate the weekend of the dutch surfing championship 2011. The beer came in pitchers though, wich was actually really good!! We were not alone at F.A.S.T. this day, some other guys had a batchlor party going on. It was also the championsleage final, but for a couple minutes no one had any attention for what was happening on the big screen.... They were paying attention to some other big-things. When all the men turned back their heads to the screen they missed two goals :) BEER and TITTIES!!! |

This is The Phantom Four & The Arguido performing at 'Het Ongetemd feest'. I had never seen their show before, so it was kind of cool to be allowed on stage and be so close to the action. Being allowed on stage during a show is always cool offcourse, and even more when Rudeboy is on that same stage jumping around! |

Wolff and King Jack were performing in 'het paard'. not last week and not the week before that, no. had a lot of other things to do, or was i just a little lazy?? like i can be somethimes. Doensnt really matter to me because both bands rocked that evening. King Jack opened the show and made me believe they were the headliners of the show [ it was a last minute decision to see the show and didn't know any of these bands ]. Later these young lads from wolff came on stage and totally blew minds with their music. Here are some photo's of how a night should be in the hague, rock n roll! |

do you know a situation on over-crowded festivals where eveyone is loosing one another? or worse the group of friends your with is too big and has to many opinions on what to do or where to go? [Yes/No?!] I guess it's something i am kind of allergic too, even better: 'I hate that shit' and when that feeling pops up in my stomach, just one thing comes to mind 'Walk away, find your own way!' But without instantly becomming the dickhead of the day, by walking away from them, this just aint possible. Last week i was at such a happening and a wise friend showed me a good solution. She bought a helium-butterfly-balloon wich she tied to her wrist and was now flaoting above everyone and everything. Now i could go wherever i wanted to and without a problem the whole group stayed togheter. and like her i will end this with only one word: 'Liefde' |

Queensday 2011, think this was the best queensday i've had in a long time. Could just be it was the best i've had since my childhood.. It was like back in the days, being on the flee-market, trying to sell anything you want to get rid off. Well actually I didnt sell anything of my own, I wasn't even the die-hard salesman you supposed to be on queensday. Conquer your sales-spot at 6 in the morning and sell all the useless things you got roaming around your house. No i came late, but just in time for the best queensday in a long time...!!!! Thanks guys!! |

It was about a week ago I found this slide film i the corner of my room. with no idea what it could be, I brought it to the photo shop in town.... it was a nice surprise to see and relive this crazy new years night somewhere in the mountains |

Ongetemd, a surf brand from scheveningen (Holland), is known for their good party's. But what they actually do, is celebrating that the new collection is out in the Shops! This is the third year they do that in 'het Paard' (the Hague). It was a wild one once again!!! But as far as I know, no bad injuries this year. Valentine's day... You may hate it or participate in this commercially exploited day on wich people spend too much money. I think you could've better spend your money two days earlier in the Country Club of the P.I.P. where You could've had a Jolly good time and get drunk while having a blast with some of your friends and showingthem your love by buying them another round of beer...!!!! |
